Din Din

24 Sep

So I’m out of town right now, visiting Iowa and generally still enjoying the summer that is lingering in the Midwest. Resisting the temptation to extend my ticket I signed up with my dear friend and writer, Nina Lary, for this. Yum.

Din din is a monthly public dinner party hosted in a variety of venues around Portland. This Sunday I am excited to attend their shell-fish dinner on the roof of The Art Department (and later in the gallery). As they say “Shellfish have a rustic elegance. Always mounded high on their platter, they look generous yet humble on the table. You drink them with champagne, barefoot – the perfect bon voyage to summer!”

.

In addition to the lovely dinner by Chef Courtney, Artist Kate Fenker will be creating beautifulness with shells, while Artemisia will be decorating with beach themed terrariums.

If you’d like to join, check out the event and menu on our calendar and RSVP.
